Chrissie Bingham

LLPC

She/Her

I believe the connection between one’s mind, body, and spirit is essential. Within therapy, we work to recognize thought patterns and behaviors that trigger unwanted emotions or reactions from the outside world. Through this awareness, you will be empowered to choose a higher state of being. By drawing out your strengths you can create a peaceful reality for yourself as you move through life’s obstacles with grace. Within my practice, I utilize not only talk therapy but yoga, meditation, and creative expression to work through depression or anxiety. For many people, creativity cultivates a deeper understanding of the Self. By acting as a mirror I enable my clients to get to know every part of themselves, even the parts hidden under layers of fear, sadness, anger or shame. I am here to bear witness to your story as it unfolds, without judgment. My greatest joy as a counselor is to uncover the transcendent aspects of the human experience to make one’s reality more meaningful. I have a humanistic approach, well versed in person centered therapy, Mindfulness based CBT and am a Certified EMDR practitioner. I specialize in helping clients who struggle with depression, anxiety and trauma. I am also a practicing yoga and meditation teacher with 10 years of experience facilitating movement and breath classes.
